Fitting a complicated concept into a 'house style'...

...while it's not always necessary to understand exactly what your creating a design for (although it is usually a good idea!), in this case as long as the style fitted, the client liked it and the end user understood the content and knew it was from Tyco, then that was enough.

Starting young minds thinking about music and the mind with a visual stimulus

This A2 poster was mailed out to all schools in Suffolk, its aim was to encourage young people to think about how they could use music in creative and different ways to reflect the concept of 'music and the mind', the design was carried over onto the A5 programme cover and accompanying leaflet.

Keeping the Music Master' and Mistresses' Association inline.

Over a number of years various publications had been established, with a diverse range of design styles, from A4 magazines, Welcome Folder and Yearbook to the A5 Annual Music Awards Directory, each with its own style and feel.

This was an attempt to unify all the various publications into a distinctive and recognisable style, each separate but belonging to the same 'family' source.
